Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Syndrome of the Back Defending

hi.
my problem is being back defending. the opponent's players can easly long pass to back of my defence. wings of opponent always use the long pass and the pass goes the back of my fullbacks from side(they were also curling).
and skillful players estimate that chance always.

The second problem :
when opponent's wings dive to my area from side, my DCs closing down the opponent(with my fullback). so centre of area is free and opponents often estimate it.

The third problem:
when my team at the attack, between of midfielders and attackers as relation is wery weak. so the attacks finish poor.

already thanks for your offers..

drop your defensive line for the first problem.set closing down to some where close to rarely for your centre backs or just plain old rarely and tackling normal.i dont know what you mean in the third problem. try rephrasing that, the grammar is unclear......

try and set there individual mentalities similar....like have your midfield on say 12 mentality and your strikers close to that on 13 or 14....this should be the same for all players actually. all players mentalities should be close to each other
