Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Training a Player in a NEW Position

Ok i am Southend on my game and am training a few of my players to play in new positions. (Imparticular my youngsters for the future.) However what i want to know is can you train them to Natural at the position? Or is accomplished the best you can get?

P.S. I've searched the threads but i can't find any help of this.

Cheers

Accomplished is the best a player can get at a new position.

I think accomplished is as good as natural. Natural is pretty much embedded. I might be wrong though. :p

players can reach natural, but only if they are trained from young and trained for a looooong time(4-5 maybe even 7 years)

I would have thought natural could be only that - natural. I can't see how a player can learn to play somewhere naturally - it would go against the definition of "naturally".

Accompished is as good as you'll get I think.

im playing 4-4-2 diamond and dont have ML or MR only AML or AMR and im in conferance so cant buy new players, is it worth me re-trainging them to play as midfild ?

Can't they play at all in an ordinary RM/Lm position? Normally, AML/AMR are at least accompished at MR/ML.

BUT, if they aren't either change your tactic to have AML or AMR or what I'd do is just play them at MR/ML anyway - they can't be that bad there, especially at conference level.

yeah a player can be trained to natural- im sure Cleon has done it, and to be honest i find it weird that a player can be trained to natural too but oh well, its like with gareth barry-he is a natural LM and CM on the game but IRL he is a natural LB accomplished DC, MC and ML althoutgh ML is probably his best position he started out as a LB
