Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Swindon - FM2007 it's a piece of cake

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about FM2007. I simply used a normal 442 system and got Swindon promoted in my first season and now sit 3rd in League 1, having won the first round of the Carling Cup. A few crafty signings here and there and making the best use of your coaching staff works wonders. I would also suggest having some tasty pre-season homes games to fill the coffers. Worked wonders for my bank balance.

It is not difficult to get teams promoted to the EPL really imo. What's tougher is how to bring in a better crop of players to keep yourself in the Premiership and then challenge for EPL and Europe.

Still, good work.
