Im really struggling with Leeds United, havent made any big signings in my current first season. I would be very happy if someone could help me with a good tactic, Im mostly interested in a solid 442 formation, so if somebody has one please help me out.

I would point you in the direction of Lovesleapers tactics, there are a number of different formations, but has a good set of 4-4-2.

Can't remember how to post links but look for the thread called "Implementing Tactics in FM08"...They'e in there and a really good start point.

Would also recommend you sign the following players

Torje
Stancu
Buananotte
Dsudsak (Not spelt correctly but he's hungarian)

They will give the quality you need.

In my 4th season with Leeds and I'm top od the Championship at the half way stage.

I got promoted via the playoffs first season and lost the playoff final for the Championship second season. 3rd season was average finishing 11th so 4th season is going well.

I tried a 4-4-2 with Leeds since they use this IRL but it fails miserably in the game.

I then used the much abated 4-1-3-2 and that is what has given me success with Leeds.

In my 4th season the only player I have left is Paul Huntington, Jon Douglas and David Prutton and these players play brillant in a 4-1-3-2.

Give that a go.

1st season with leeds, using the 'GREAT!!' loveleapers set of tactics. have tweaked very slightly to players attributes (remember the tactics are a framework to be adjudged to ones ideas). 15 straight wins now lying 7th. semler,doudin,sabic kinkladze,pecnik & jenssen are additions to my squad. will try to upload the screenie thingy.
