Hey, I've started a new game on Weegie with Arsenal. I've just sold Flamini to Newcastle for £6m (which I think is a pretty good deal as he never seems to improve), but now I'm lacking a backup DM for Gilberto.

Tactially, I'm going to be playing 2 in the middle, with Fabregas going forward (with Rosicky on backup) and Gilberto sitting back. So, to support Gilberto, does anyone have any suggestions for a good young DM (<23) who'll happily join Arsenal for preferably a transfer fee of <£6m (would prefer not to pay more than I sold Flamini for).

As it's Weegie obviously Yaya Touré etc aren't available. I would love to use Denilson, but his stats really aren't up for first team action for this season (at least).

also maybe try and get Momo Sissoko from Liverpool?

lassana diarra mate,you already have him and hes world class in a few years.it is also possible to get gago on loan from real madrid.veloso of sporting is solid.de jong also for around 2 million from hsv.dudu cearense,j.martinez of athletic,L bruins may also tickle your fancy

Maybe he doesn't have the patch to have Diarra as he was at Chelsea, right?

As for defensive midfield I recommend Gago aswell.

Nuri Sahin I think is the best centre-mid in the game, I think he can slot in at defensive mid, he did for me anyways.

yea your possibly right i just assumed when he said weegie it was latest one.Sahin is quality although i prefer him more attack minded as he is a very intelligent player and carves teams open

Lucas. He's your replacement for Gilberto Silva in a few years, too. He may be a little bit more expensive then what you want, maybe $16 mil. (8 mil GBP?)

ive got lassana diarra , diaby and denilson would any of them do?

Diaby is fb, Denilson is really good, but can't head, and I've never used Diarra, but he looks good

Denilson is very promising on my current game with Middlesbrough, 2010-2011 season. Looks like this could be the season he breaks into my first team there. But I wouldn't advise playing for Arsenal if you are just starting a game or 1/2 seasons in.
