Hey guys,

New to the forums and been playing champ/footy manager since the early years on the amiga.

Just had a glittering man city career and after a new challenge with a team of similar mould anywhere in the continent.

been through the other team guides and theres nothing taking my fancy. anyone have any suggestions for me?? any help would be appreciated.

was also looking at the best teams to go thread and would just like to add that in my experience any dutch team is always a good bet.

also real zaragoza are a good shout but been them recently too!!

Might not be what you are looking for but Sunderland are a great team to manage you get very little money at the very start but can sell a few deadwood players to raise around £8 million. It is hard but then in Jan the board usually give you another £6-8 million to spend. Then for the next few seasons the money rolls in and you can build an awesome squad. In 5th season my current team is

GK Gordon
LB G Bale
RB Nicky Hunt
CB Samba/Sonko
CB Vidal/Lescott
CM Sunny/Banega
RM A Young/R Babel
LM Ben Arfa/M Fernandez
AMC Regen or any of the wingers
ST B Sharp/P Ilhan
ST Adriano/Regen

As you can see its easy to build a very good team but it takes a few years.

My friend keeps telling me how good ti is managing Fiorentina and Athletico Madrid as both team have great players and can attract very good ones aswell as selling to make alot of cash.

that looks like a nice wee sunderland side youve built up, Ben Arfa is a great player, just had him in my man city squad and he's excellent.

Fiorentina and atletico are both excellent sides to go with superb squads.

Sunderland does sound tempting though so may give that a bash.

Try west brom? they r quite an interesting bunch
Usually a reasonable amount of money and loans will get u thru.

Nah got him quite cheapish i also sold some star players from west brom like the aussie guy i had to Barca for 7 mil so i had much money to spend
