Im in my 1st season with Derby. Currently sitting 7th and I'm heading towards the January transfer window. I'm not playing to bad however my defence is really letting me down. Can anyone recommend a few decent defenders I can get hold of preferably priced under 1m.

You can at least loan Nordtveit. No problem. I'd also try to loan Catchart. Good duo right there.

I'm afraid I had difficulty getting any of the players mentioned above, I am going to try and chase some again however. Just finished my season in 13th place. I avoided relegation, much to the boards delight. However I know my team will struggle next season unless I bring in some real quality in all areas. So I'm here asking for your help again, not just defenders but midfielders and attackers to.

One question I do have is regarding transfer money. Do the board give you new transfer funds before the beginning of the season or do I have to request it through the budget adjustment?
