You sell your best GK without having a decent enough backup you're bound to have problems. Nothing you can do. Wait till next season. Put in a DM to help out in defence and if you have a big, strong striker, then play the Chelsea way. Long balls to the striker who holds the ball up and gets others into the game. You'll have to look to win games 1-0.

are they team instructions ok for using the target man then getting him to hold it up while he gets support?

I wouldnt use a playmaker unless you have someone who is really good and I definitely wouldnt have an attacking mentality if defending is your problem. And if you come up against slow strikers, I'd look to have the defensive line further up.

My main striker , Kimmy Briand , is now back and on his first game back , i beat Motherwell 8-0 and he scored 5 :eek: My defensive problems arent as bad anymore as Jonathan Evans has hit good form and won Player of The Month last month and Young Player of The Month the last 2 months
