I still think that this is the best footie management game around though and completely playable out of the box, got me addicted again after many years, it's just that this is my FM2004 career game, maybe 40+ seasons, so I'm not in a particular rush or impatient for a rushed patch (still playing a non LLM game and enjoying it thoroughly btw) Why have milk when cream is just around the corner?

Aye. When your team picks up 12 yellows (on 8 players, i.e. four of them sent off) and the opposition gets one solitary yellow, you start wondering how much the ref has been paid

What's worse is we were already 4-0 down before any of my 4 men got sent off

To be honest, I think only one card was for diving though. I haven't seen diving more often than would be reasonable in my game yet. I've had more issues with the second yellow for dissent directly after a first yellow, although again, only a handful of times in nearly 3 seasons.

Needed to win the last game to win the Conference South, drew 0-0 (England Poland 1970's anyone?), however Hendon my bug-bear (from 2 seasons ago also) also drew at home so avoided my play-off nightmare and came 1st, I noticed this season that every team I played, Hendon played next, is that why they did so well? or is it just coincidence, anyway my back-up striker with totally crap stats from the last 2 seasons and crap attributes decided to knock in 27 goals
