Stan - firstly I am a Zealot I know how to play the game the LLM way.

Secondly, the point of the game is not to get the lowest of the low teams to the Champions League: it's to play the game as realistically as possible. How realistic is it to stay with one team from Conference North/South all the way to the Premiership?

If that means changing jobs every 2 or 3 seasons, so be it. Read some of the longer update threads. Read Mkus's thread. He's on his third team already in one save in his FM game.

Alright, calm down.

I have read some of the other posts and one of the 3 aims of LLM is to continue playing with the same team until you have won everything.

What's wrong with aiming high? If it doesn't work or I get a much better offer than to manage Wrexham then I'll move on.

Oh I agree, Stan, but very few really stick with a team through thick and thin: most LLaMas are usually sacked or jump before they are pushed . I don't think i've ever really stuck with a team from the bottom to the top, although I have taken Tranmere from the 3rd div to the Premiership in the online game (although it took me a couple of other jumps - and one push - to get there)

A Zealot: Those for whom the zeal of playing the LLM game as realistically as possible is as great as the zeal of one of the early Christian Martyrs for Jesus Christ.

Pfft, pre-empted...

Zealots were originally ancient jewish blokes who fought roman rule. In simple terms.

I thought it was some sort of club, like the masons with strange salutes and handshakes or something that only people who have played the CM series from birth are allowed to join!
