This is pre-FM obviously. You could allow yourself a maximum of 2 coaches in the ECN/S divisions.

But this was only a guide. There was some discussion at the time as to the merits of this system. It is something I more or less follow, though.

I don't agree with it, btw.

I said at the time that it was unrealistic to limit yourself to one scout, a coach and a physio when certain Juvenille Clubs in my area have a scouting system that runs to tens of scouts for each Club.

I always have an AssMan, Scottish, and Coaches for Goalies, First Team and Reserves minimum, and a Physio for each training regime.

In FM the Job Centre specifies that the guys have applied for the job, and if you can meet their demands I see no reason why they shouldn't be signed up.

I agree with the Indispensible One wrt language, though. If they can't speak English (to a British squad) then they can't coach them.
