My first true venture into the merky division entitled the 'Conference South' and I am on the brink of making history.

Cambridge City, a terrible terrible club, are one game away from winning the league. (This is not bragging, I am taking no plaudits, all those go to my players).

I have found this an extremely enjoyable adventure in my first season. Bringing in players whom many believed were extinct and bringing back their original qualities that they displayed when playing top flight footie.

I need advice as I step up to the Conference National. I do not know what my fund is but anybody who has been promoted from the lowest division must be able to help guide my team up to league football.

Loving LLM after success at my favourite club Spurs became boring. Those real madrid and Man Utd gamers just don't know what the game is.......

In my opinion, you have 2 options here... The first is to be brutally honest and work out who you think will make the step up.. and who won't.. or can go along the approach that if they are good enough to win the league, you should at least give them a chance in the higher league... There will always be some change of personnel, just don't make too many in one go... Team spirit is a big thing in this game...

Cheers for (on the most part) somewhat patronising answers! But I take it all in good spirit (tis the season to be jolly...etc). I was just wondering if I got my team up to the prem will I ever be able to have a 50,000 capacity stadium etc or are there limits to ground expansion?

I know this question shouldn't be in this section, but it will be the last one i promise (please don't shut the thread)....

If the banker tells you you got the cash the council will step in and tell you they wont allow you planning permission (Blo**dy Cremonese council )
