Because like most people, you get attached to your players until they pee you off!! Cashing in on someone is a bit harsh but sometimes it's survival first... There will be more stars,,,  |

It is perfectly normal and you will be banging your head against a brick wall soon.
It is because you know his importance, it is because you know there won't be anyone as good for a long time, it is because you are not aware that the same player would screw you over and go to antoher club when his contract expires.

I needed to cash in, he was contracted for another 2 years but I had to clear debts.

Talking about young talented guns:
Just trialed in 16 yo 'Leg O'breaker'. After several friendlies (in which he did good) and managerial staff apraisal (they are all salivating about his potential) I managed to sign him...
Surprise, surprise... The lad is now followed by two League One clubs and his value has skyrocketted to 40K GBP (which is about 10x what my best valued player is worth). :eek:

lol I don't think any of us would have mistaken that for bragging, just like I wasn't bragging when I drew ManUre away in the FA Cup....Okay so I was.
Anyway, that's just the way things go in LLM, if you can get teams to sign for inflated prices, all the power to you!
