Well... lost my match following the cup game, but then won my next two. Not bad...

As a long time lurker on this forum (almost exclusively posting while drunk), i feel that if you spend a bit of time reading the threads you'll find that those "undiplomatic" replies are just a part of what makes this forum such a great and special place. A lot of the posters who are regulars now have had similar experiences in the beginning, but have just kept on posting and slowly gained trust as a true LLama. You really need to be a bit tough sometimes to scare the (potential) **** away
Me, i'm a lurker by nature and will probably keep on lurking to the bitter end. When i'm not drunk, like now |

Diplomacy? Pah, it's this kind of gross misunderstanding that perpetuates the myth that LLaMas are unfriendly. If new guys read and heed the Forum Header, Rules and Guidelines before they post then they'll be greeted with the bonhomie they deserve.
If they don't become acquainted with what the Forum's about before posting then they're fair game for "correction"...without abuse, you understand, this is patently against Board Rules.
Look at it this way...I'd be pretty feckin' stupid if I went into the local Mosque and tried to book it for a Bar Mitzvah.

Nah, you're just scary sometimes. I've not been here in ages. But I used to hang around. And now I'm back. Now THATS scary. Erm... But yeah, I'm a lurker and I'm proud of it.

As are some of the oldies. Oldies as in regulars, not those that are elderly in their respective ages.
Apart from Iajafar, obviously, as he's a grumpy twonk any time of the day. |
