I started the season with a loss, again but from the 2nd game of the season I was always in the top 10, eventually going top after a 14 game winning streak which took me 13 points clear at the top, but then it all went wrong, and my strikers who where finding the net left right and centre had trouble finding where the net was and it wasn't long before I found my self 1 point clear at the top thanks to some luck, with the 2nd place team's only real threat in front of goal tearing his knee ligaments.
Whilst being 1 point clear I had a game against the team below me, and I knew if I lost, my season would be virtually over, but I won and my strikers started finding the net after that, but unfortunately it wasn't as often as before but at least we was putting together some decent form which saw us win the league by 5 points.
A fairly good season from The Missioners as I aim to take them into the Football League next season.
The Cups: FA Cup: 3rd Rnd Wuals
FA Trophy: 3rd Rnd
Having kept the wages down over the last 2 seasons I am aiming to bring some more players in over the summer to build on what I have and to provide some decent cover for injuries and suspensions etc. Hopefully I can progress to the 3rd round of the FA Cup aswell and bring some money in.

KUTGW.
Don't bank on a cup run, though.

I'm not banking on a good cup run, the bank balance is healthy though and I am going for a more solid tactic this season, previously I was banging the goals in until about halfway and then the goals dried up, mainly due to fatigue I think but with a solid tactic I should afford to cope with a little goal drought a bit more.

[B]Season 06/07[B/]
After getting Hayes promoted I attempted to strengthen the squad that was needed if I was sustain myself as a Conference manager. I managed to bring in 4 players over the summer permanantly and a winger on loan.
The season started slowly but somehow I managed to find myself in 2nd but I had a lack of continuous form. A striker I had managed to get 1st season was on fire though, coming off the bench and after 25games had scored 18 goals! He only managed 14 in his 1st 2 seasons and was lucky to get a contract. I was dealt a major blow though when my star striker from the season before broke his leg, meaning a waste of £150 for 10months. After this though things started going down hill and my favourite club (Grimsby Town as the name suggests) offered me a job.
I couldn't turn it down, league management at the club I love, a chance to test my skills managing a club £500k in the red and a badly managed wage bill. I just had to accept, and I did. The team was fighting at the bottom of League 2 and needed a miracle to save them, after the 1st game I realised there wasn't a forward in the squad who would find the net on a regular basis so I went out and bought 2 forwards who could, but I have just got them relegated to the Conference National and aim to get them back up at the 1st attempt.
Will keep you updated...
