I have just completed my first season as a LLM and am finding it very enjoyable.

I started with Runcorn in Conference North with the target of avoiding relegation (it may have been mid table though) with a transfer budget of zero and was a little under my wage budget.

My initial squad had a total value of 3K, by the end of the season I achieved the goal and finished sixth from bottom. I made a profit of 30K for the season and now have a player worth a massive 26K (the only good player my scout found, a striker who scored 21 goals)

I am finding tactics difficult to say the least.
It seems that when you think you have cracked them someone SH$%s on you from above. How else can you explain beating the runaway league leaders 3 - 0 one week then getting humped by the team in 22nd the next with the exact same team/formation.

My scouts have now found me some promising youngsters (well they seem to think so, time will tell) I have the same transfer budget as last year and the same goals from the board.

I forgot to mention that I had three job offers from league two clubs towards the end of the season ???

This surprised me as I have not achieved anythig yet having finished 3 places above relegation.

I resisted the temptation to jump though

Job Offers have been a bit screwy since CM4. I don't usually bother taking them unless I feel I have deserved them.

End of season2 update:

Was moved from North o South.
Things starte badly 7 league games no goals scored (a bit like Aberdeen a few seasons ago, unfortunately I did not break my scoring duck with a 6-5 away win against motherwell )
Cup was different 3 -0 and 2 - 0 first 2 games.

I sold some players and scouted some ounger replacements.

with 15 games to go I was 9 points adrift at the bottom of the league but I finally found a formation that my ultra skillful players could use and rallied to avoid relegation by one point on 43 points.

Made a 100K profit over the season and the board are still happy.

Looking forward to the new season with renewed hope

Season3 almost complete, 2 games left 6 points clear with around 15 goals better difference so barring a major dissaster in the last 2 games I am up.

My scouts excelled themselves this season and managed to get me a freebie who is now worth 120K.

I have 4 players who have played most of the season and have an average rating of over 8

Will probably not get playing much over the next 2 days as my daughters are hyper just now.
