What do you do? Retire? Take another job? Start a new game?

Now I haven't played many seasons on CM/FM, the most I ever managed was 5 with Wimbledon, taking them from Divison 1 to an established Prem side in 03/04 but now I am an LLM trying to take Hayes to the football league.

Now, once you have taken your team as far as you can do you take a job that comes your way, perhaps at your favourite club or retire and start again at the lowest level or just start a brand new game?

Do whatever you feel like. The important thing is to have fun with your game.

I'd guess the majority of LLaMas keep the game going, but with different Teams.

I've certainly done a forty season game, and several thirty seasoners. Most I ever did with one Team was 10 years.

Guy Roux aside, not many managers stick with the one Club for their career.

I've never seen the point in starting a new game unless you fancy playing a league that you haven't got loaded in your savegame.

As for the original question, I'll just start again at the bottom with the worst club I can find.

What the other pooves said.

My longest stay in a team (post CM93/94 in which I had a 25 seasons love affair with Morecambe) should be my 10 or 11 seasons spell at Europa de Nava.

I move when I feel I'm ready, or am forced to be ready.

The only time I retire is when I've had a run of a few decades, and a mediocre to poor showing, and it'd be likely to see someone retire. Much easier to gauge now with the age feature.

I just thought as the aim of LLM is to keep it as real as poss, most managers retire at around 55/60, so once you reach that age you may aswell retire.

Even if I manage to manage a long-term career at one club the final ending at that club will be most likely by getting the sack

Still mad at the FC Sud-Tirol Alto Adige board who fired me after some 18 seasons in 01/02...

I like to start in the lowest league possible, which i did with Sutton Utd, after 5 seasons i was in League 2 and offered a job at Bradford in League 1 and i took it, then took them to the premiership but fought relegation every year until Chelsea offered me a job which obviously i took.

Basically i like starting in lowest league and working my way up, when a better club offers you a job i take it because im improving as a manager and its time for a higher job and it delights me being offered these job. Then once i've done all i can in England i will move abroad.

And thats how i play the game

I played for 13 seasons with Jarfalla once. But the latest achievment was 5 seasons with Panserraikos and after I got sacked (), I joined Yugoslavian team. I must say I was negativly surprised. In time I lost interest and other stuff came along, so I deleted the save, when I pruchased FM.
