Right now I've got your attention, How do you keep your lower league players happy and willing to play for you.
I like having a squad of satisfied players anyone with a UNH beside there name, well the problem has to be solved within two weeks or else I transfer list them. Nuneaton borough under my rule isn't a club that tolerates upstarts.
However I had a problem in FM2005 due to players not recognizing there squad status and being unhappy as a result e,g First team regular who has been an ever present for the last 20 games thinking he doesn't have an important enough role in the team.
The patch was meant to solve this but my nuneaton team still has first team regulars who think they should have a more important role. Have I just got a bunch of bolshies in my team or is there still problems with the squad status programming.
I didn't start afresh but it's taken 4 years and a few real life hours to get Nuneaton to there present heady heights I don't want to start again first time is always the best, well unless your a lady
You think that's annoying, my scouts discovered two youths who were just "Midfielders". Not MC, MR, AML or whatever, just M. You reckon they don't know what their best position is?

My scout found a guy who was only a Defender. I signed him, because he would probably be the 2nd best player in my 2-player squad...
Only problem is the guy never appeared on the players' list. So now I transfer listed him, for it's stupid you sign a player and he doesn't appear.
