Default Good starting point?

Thi is my first stab at LLM since purchasing FM. I am going to have a browse through the lower english conference leagues. Any hints at who would make a good challenge to have me pulling my hair out over the festive season (week off between christmas and new year \o/). Thanks for your help

Hey Peter, didn't expect to see you here

I started with Thurrock in the Conference South and found it stimulating.

Bigbants' suggestion of using Frank certainly indroduces a bit of chance into it.

Good luck and let us know how you do, and welcome to the Forum

Peterj

I'd say to steer clear of Hornchurch and Altrincham, they seem to be the two best teams in the Conf. N/S. Other than that, any team could be a good challenge.

I have just started up as Welling in the conference south (on the basis they are a bus ride from my flat - I can use my travelcard when I manage them ). I am going through the preseason at the momemt and the squad seems ok (if very thin). I will update at the end of the season.

Oh and finally - cheers for the welcome fellas:thup:

I generally find the best solution to a thin squad is a sponsorship deal from McDonalds [/tip]

Good luck

I started this time as Havant and Waterlooville manager. So far I gotten Pompey to loan me two of their reserves and now I'm after a couple of Southhampton reserve players.
