Straight to the point - has anyone else been finding that the chances of being drawn away in a cup competition are much greater than being drawn at home?
In a few seasons of floating around the lower-leagues with a succession of ne'er-do-wells and under-achievers i've only had a couple of cup games at home, in either Trophy or Cup. Just thought it a little odd.
hi all long time no post ,
anyway noticed that i keep on drawing with Cardiff in the LDV, FA, League Cup, i think i managed to play them about 5 times in one season.
I stopped watching after some woman started hearing voices in her fridge.
As for cup games... despite sucking ass, if your reserves somehow manage to scrape through to a tie against a big team, an away match will fill the coffers much more efficiently.

Wasn't that Ghostbusters????
Oh and as an Australian i apologise for the crap TV that we produce, i can't believe people enjoy watching crap acting. Although i guess it's maybe a tad better then that American horse poo.
The large majority of cups do suck arse, i'll give you that. A good FA Cup 3rd Rnd tie could get you going for quite some time though, and we all know we need the money.
