You sure about that?

I was seized by the spirit of Odin, apparently.
My 1st season as head of League One Northampton started with promise. We are tipped as relegation battlers by the press. After 9 matahes we had won 7 and were standing in 2nd position. Then reality set in...
The first bout of aquaplaning resulted in us falling to midtable. Despite fielding our standard 1st team squad, we lost in the 1st round of the League Cup and Vans. A brief return to form had us in a position to flirt with promotion, and we made it through 3 rounds of the FA Cup.
A second prolonged aquaplane resulted in us free falling toward the bottom of the table. Thanks to the intervention of our tempermental Jamaican striker (who longed to join a larger team and was in fits all season), we finished the last 3 matches strong, and ended in 13th.
The board says they are ambitious but they won't expand Sixfields despite selling out a good many matches. They won't even improve the woeful training facilities. I intend to revamp the roster during the close season and free myself of some dead wood salary.
