Default Lewes in the Conference South

I chose to take over at Lewes Fc as they are my Local team in Sussex. I am a fan but im still Crystal Palace born and bred.

Lewes (as other people have said) start with £0 in the transfer budget and not the highest wage budget either. The Dripping Pan is a small stadium seating 400 out of the 2600 capacity. Both the fans and the board see the side as Relegation Battlers and the season to be a grim one. But what was to be expected from a side that jumped 2 leagues in playoff wins in the league formatt reshuffle.

However despite these poor assets in the Conference South the squad has some decent talent:

No Player Naming (A solid left winger with possibly the best potiental in the squad)

No Player Naming (Big centre half solid in the air gets alot of goals off corners)

No Player Naming (Strong targetman scores alot of scrappy goals in the box and some 40 yard blinders aswell)

Other good players were No Player Naming

I started the season in great form winning the first games by 2/3 goal margins my form was very indifferent at times taking runs of losses (big losses) followed by wins and barely and draws all season 4 at most. I signed in 1 player No Player Naming RM from Eastbourne Boro on a free and got 3 loans from Premiership Clubs:

No Player Naming (Pompey)
No Player Naming (Arsenal)
No Player Naming (Arsenal)

No Player Naming and No Player Naming were only 3 month loans that I extended No Player Naming was season long.

I finished the league in 5th place and made the playoffs. I was knocked out of the FA cup and FA Trophy in earlier rounds.

I took on Margate in the Semi Finals of the Playoffs firstly away. Unfortunatly No Player Naming and No Player Naming who lead the team (Especially No Player Naming in midfield) were both back at Highbury 2 days before the first game. I took a 2-0 defeat away at Margate who dominated the game against my side really in need of No Player Naming in the centre of the park. The home tie was going to have to be all out attack... The first half saw nothing but chance after chance denyed by the Margate goalie but No Player Naming fired home an effortafter 50min shortly followed by a second yellow for diving. I threw on No Player Naming (real name No Player Naming nice one SIgames!) and scored 2 in the dieing minutes to put Lewes into the final against an inform Newport unbeaten in 8.

Basically without No Player Naming, No Player Naming or No Player Naming and 3 more injuries to the squad my chances of a solid performance were low. Newport took a early lead through a 30 yard effort and the Lewes reserve forward line failed to counter this. I pushed on Gung Ho style in the second half only to concded twice more lol.

A big lesson in LLM for me as this was my first real dig at it. But I was convinced I could show Lewes' bouncebackability in the second season in the Conference South. I rejected 5 job offers in League football to continue towards my goal of promotion.

My second season started with the news that my transfer budget was £0 again not surprising due to my wages being over budget to keep the better players at the club. No Player Naming left the club for 4k and I decided that youth players on frees was the way to go.

No Player Naming and No Player Naming now free agents refused to join me and chose league teams unsurprisingly. No Player Naming rejoined on a season long loan and was joined by No Player Naming of Pompey (amazingly enough) and No Player Naming who at least had some experience of the league from rivals Hornchurch.

I signed in No Player Naming, No Player Naming and No Player Naming to add to the squad. I best signing was undoubtably No Player Naming released from Watford with the 18 finishing to match No Player Naming. The signing of No Player Naming released from Palace looked to be a good move as I thought his goalkeeping talents would be more than good enough for Conference South.

My season started in dreadful form to say the least. Back to back defeats right from the start. 5-0 against Weston-Super-Meye saw No Player Naming drop straight out of the side! My form vaired over the season same as before but stupid goals (mainly unstoppable ones from 30 to 40 yards) were scored against me every time I looked to push towards the top of the table. No Player Naming was an amazing signing as his pace and lethal finishing tore down many sides defences.

I made the 1st Round of the FA cup to lose to Stockport county 2-0. And Im currently in the 5th round of the FA trophy. Im chasing the playoff zone but my team is throwing games away in the dieing minutes and Im in a injury crisis great fun....

Did you know there was a rumour going around that Stan Laurel is the father of Clint Eastwood?

Yeah, but that was before they heard about the three loans from Premiership clubs tbf.

I only read it all looking for a name that Craig had missed, but JCB beat me to it
