Hi, I just finished my first season with Redbridge. Made it to the playoffs (board only expected safe middle table position), but lost in the final.
So my first season was a pure succes, plus I signed my star player who I first got from loan.

Only have one problem: Season finished, transfers done, but there's two months between now and the start of the next season. What on earth am I supposed to do in that period??

Play a friendly every week with a special training schedule? giv them couple weeks hell, 2 weeks off and then start with friendlies or...?

In a totally non-FM related way, but because I'm a Union Rep, I always give my players a month off...June 1st to 30th.

Even crap are entitled to their annual leave.

A month! nonsense. They earn good money - some of my players are on nearly £200 a week! And they expect a month off in the summer?

Whatever next Ian - you'll be suggesting they shouldn't train 7 days a week, 3 times a day...
