Hi,

First post so I will keep it short.

I started a game with a medium sized database and with the English and French leagues selected. My LLM attempt actually started with me choosing Monaco to manage. They had a decent squad and loads of promising youngsters.

However, this quickly turned into my worst FM experience ever and I had not won a game in any competition by the end of January. Ashamed of this I walked, took a couple of months off and then took over MK Dons who were 16th in league two.

With only 8 game of the season left we were safe and could not go up so I had a little tinker with the next season in mind. Pre-season I brought my first ever Madagascan player and his goals confounded many critics and the new season saw us stabilise ourselves as playoff candidates. A playoff final victory over arch rivals Wycome took us into league one.

The dream continues. In short we were predicted to finish 23rd. The Madagascan got even better, our affiliation with Fulham wielded some class loan players and we were unbeaten at the start of December. Tailed off in the second half of the season but we finished 4th and my status as a demi-god was almost confirmed.

Back down to earth. A heart breaking penalty defeat in the playoff final means we must try again but the bookies have us as odds-on to go up this season. Will keep you updated.

Hi Hendi, Monaco are not LLM, MK Dons are not LLM, and your update is not 3 seasons old. Other than that, welcome aboard.

Didn't take long for the Gestapo to wake up. Thanks for the reply but I did take note of the forum rules. No tipping or player naming, no tactics, no editors and no bragging. I fail to see any of the above in my first post.

Perhaps you read the guidelines too fast?

"Look for any Nation with more than one Division. Look at the Clubs in the Lowest Division. Choose one of these Clubs."

Lowest division in England is not BSP, right?
And one more thing - parent/feeder arrangements is a no-no in UK. I am also curious how you found that Madagascan gem? Could MK Dons really afford scouts outside of poofland?

LLM starts in BSS/BSN in England, C2/A, C2/B, C2/C in Italy, Regionalliga in Germany, Segunda B Division in Spain, etc. Clear?

The only exception is that your PC is too **** to run the lowest league, then you may take a BSP team, but the zealous members will not accept that.

and, MK Don is not the newest team in the world.
