Not quite, but listen to this:
Reading's first ever Premiership match was at home against Boro. Boro were 2-0 up after approx. 20 minutes. Reading came back to win 3-2.
On FM 07, Reading's first Premiership match was against West Ham (at home though, which is a similarity

) and what do you know, West Ham were 2-0 up after a 20 minutes.
West Ham's second was a free kick that Hahnmann spilt and was tapped in, the same as Boro's
Dave Kitson pulled one back for Reading, the same player who scored Reading's first.
James Harper scored a low, left footed shot from just outside the area, the same as Reading's second (although it was Steve Sidwell that scored the goal IRL)
Just before half time, Kitson's legs were taken away by Upson and he had to go off. IRL, Kitson was injured by Chris Riggott just before half time and had to go off, and when Reading played Birmingham in the FA Cup, Upson took his legs away. On all three occaisons, the player in question deserved a red, but only got a yellow.
After half time, Leroy Lita replace Dave Kitson (yet another parralell!) and scored the winner, capitalising on a keeper's error. I was starting to wonder if it was programmed to be like this or not.
West Ham had a goal disallowed for offside in the closing stages. If I was being genorous, I'd call that 10 parralells.
