Team talks - they are getting quite annoying. What is the point of doing a team talk if there is no reaction. If I tell a team that they are an embarassment, they are not just going to sit there and do nothing! There will be a reaction. Now whatever I say, I always get "nothing specific noted" for every player! Is the assisstant blind or something??

If your assistant (note spelling) is Stevie Wonder then yes.....

Happens to me all the time.

Only 2-3 of my players actually have some sort of reaction and that's once in a while only.

Yep ranted on about this in a few threads.

Stupid really. Then all of a sudden you get. "Player doesnt seem to be listening" or of that affect.

Like WTF?? first no reaction then they dont listen!

Like get the **** out of here. Would love a command where I can smack them and make them listen.

Yeah team talks kinda annoy me. You can spend a wee bit of time on giving them (if you give some players individual talks) and then ALL the time nothing specific is noted lol... If I was a player and got told I was crap I think I would react in some way or another... Maybe SI need to look at this? Or maybe they think its realistic enough. Not that big a problem I guess.

What bothers me is that you get to see the reaction AFTER the match, and you have to ask your assistant what the reaction was!

i think its generally agreed that its one of the low points of the game

its certainly a priority for si to sort out in future releases

either scrap it or turn it into something other than a lottery

Try getting your assistants to take the team talks. If he's got good man management ability, good determination and is motivated then it should have an effect.

Have you noticed than when your assistant gives a teamtalk the team plays better than if you did, even if you intended to say exactly the same thing as your assistant.
