I stopped using team talks pretty early. Which is a shame really becasue I think it can help out in many situations.

What I'd like to see is a thread that really delves into the various comments and explains when which one should be used and/or the theories behind it. Can vaguley remeber a couple of threads that showed promise, but struggling to find them now. Feel free anyone

There are two team talks I have stopped using period. That is pleased and thrilled. No matter how much my team dominate and lead when going to halftime I always use something to take them back down to earth. As in previous release those two comments mean I'm happy now you can take your tea-cup with you out on the pitch and have a 45 minute break and it doesn't matter if the other tema score a handfull of goals in the process.

Anyway back to the original poster, yes team talks are hopeless, i just get an ass man with high motivating and man management and let him deal with them; because as Kriss said i just can't seem to get the right one.

My fav example, when 1-0 up at half time.... there just isn't an option that equates to "get a second and make the game safe" i appreciate that SI are limited by how many options can be available, but encourage rarely works in that situation, pleased seems to cause complacency, "don't get complacent" seems to cause sulks and anything else just isn't suitable.
