I'm so angry with the programming of the game!!!

You're playing a match and you go 0-1 down. You then score and you think all is well, but the goal is disallowed.

From playing this over the last month or so I have realised that if you have a goal disallowed when you are losing or drawing and you see a message along the lines of 'THE PLAYERS OBVIOUSLY THOUGHT THAT GOAL SHOULD OF STOOD' then you will NEVER go on to win that game no matter how attacking you play.

This is because you will always get asked by the media about the goal. E.g. in your inbox 'Controversy at Hillsborough' and you asked to choose your reaction to the having a goal disallowed.

This has angered me as it takes all the suspense out of the game because there's no point in changing your tactics if you have a goal disallowed as you will never win the game. You might draw or lose it, but never win.

One thing I've noticed is that if you go in 1-0 up, it doesn't matter what you say in your half time team talk, 9 times out of 10 the other team will equalise within 10 minutes of the second half starting.

I agree that, unlike FM07, to often games seem pre-determined. You notice a pattern, and after 60 minutes you just sit back and realise that no matter what you do, you're not going to win.

Are you playing with or without the betapatch. The disallowed goals are a major problem without patch.

How long have you been playing? I often see that sort of message then go onto win. What you are saying here isn't an issue as far as I am concerned.

I can assure you it "seems" pre-determined but it is not. Yes it is frustrating to see that good chance go begging at one end and the opponent scores with their first chance on the other.

If you watched Fiorentina Vs Udinese this afternoon you will see Fiorentina got more chances and much more possession yet still lose the game. I cant see their manager claim the result is "pre determined"?

Hmm, what about the time I was on a bad run, couldn't win for toffee. In two games I was 3-0 up with 15-20 minutes to go, and in both games the final score was 3-3.

Are you telling me it was not pre-determined that I was never going to win those games? How many football matches have you ever seen where a team drew 3-3 after being 3-0 up with 14-20 minutes to go? And it happened to me twice within the space of 5 games.

You just sit there and think to yourself, what's the point?

i'm getting the same kind of problems with celtic & it's seriously ticking me off. i either win by a lot or struggle massively to score. the games where i win easily are few & far between. it doesn't matter what tactics i use because my superior quality players look like garbage. the opposition's below average players turn into world class players against my squad.

in games where i'm up a goal the equalizer comes in the last 5 minutes or stoppage time. 75% of the time it happens too. the thing that absolutely kills me is the insane offside calls that a blind man could see. so many good goals are disallowed because of that reason. i've had my strikers called offside in our own half! i've also had players called offside that weren't within 15 yards of the play & never touched the ball (they were also covered up by a defender).

this is the 1st time i've complained about the game, but it's driving me crazy.

A bit like in the 70th minute and your 2-0 down, when the it says 'the fans are leaving the stadium already' you never come back to equalize.
