Just got promoted from League 1 to the Championship and my board has gave me a huge transfer budget of 170K. I am in my third year of management with the club and i have gained promotion each season, should i issue an ultimatum?

There are probably reasons for that. Firstly they might be anticipating a short stay in the Championship and don't want to spend on a futile stay there. Maybe the bank balance isn't what it would have to be to support said spending. Maybe they are planning to upgrade the infrastructure and need the money there.

Promotion to the Championship and you're thanked with a measly 170K? Ouch, that's gotta hurt. Have you tried asking the board for my transfer funds? I'd try that first.

Yeh tried it but they cant afford it. I have really been shafted up the arse by them lol they just sold my 2 best players for 500K. SO i am being forced to look round the transfer market for free tansfers.

If you think it is a huge transfer budget then why would you want to issue an ultimatum?

Mate either:

. Ask for new contract and on that ask for more transfer funds

. Save Game and issue ultimatum

If neither work either:

. Play 1 season with the players you got plus one or two loans or something

. Just move to another club and if any of yoour players have you in fave people then try and unsettle them
