I find this game too difficult, maybe I just suck but I have tried with so many teams and I just fail everytime, or start off terribly and I just restart the game. Any tips? Tactics? I suck don't I?

everyone has their downs. me and my mate were playing and we gave ourselves 10m each (cheated ) to see if we could raise up youth, first 5 games i was in play offs, he had lost every game now he tested different tactics and is up mid table now

What kind of teams have you been playing with?

I've tried all the top teams in each of the top European leagues. The only time I did well was once with Barcelona, I finished second. I also managed Spain and was runner-up in Euro 2008. Apart from that, I have failed majestically numerous times.

Try Celtic in SPL. The only real competition you have is Rangers, and the only difference is, Celtic have more transfer funds.

Try managing a lower level team if you've been trying premier level teams so far, it's easier to recover from mistakes at the semi pro level and the tactics don't have to be fancy to get results.

I think it all depends who you go. I went Toulouse in a game and I had a small squad and little money then I had a spate of injuries and ended up getting relegated from Ligue 1, but got promoted the next season.

I went Rangers and I have won the League and Cup double 3 times in a row (in 4 seasons).
