I am 2 years in to my game and so far there have been very little managerial sackings. I'm running Scotland, England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France leagues and there is very little change in comparison to real life. This only really dawned on me when i was looking at moving teams and the lack of options available shocked me. At crucial stages of the season (December, January, March etc.) there are very few positions available.

Is this the case in other people's games or i am completely wrong?

It could be that :-
a) There is very little notification of sackings (depends on what level you are playing at)
b) New appointment sometimes happen very quickly

As has been said it's more a problem with not finding out about sackings due to the lack of press coverage.

When I was looking for a new job in my save vancancies came up on a regular basis in the job centre.

liverpool got relegated just 3 seasons in with 95% the same players that won the league in 07/08, somehow rafa kept his job and simply wasn't offered a new contract. i declaired interest, but didn't want to leave arsenal before i won the title. after the world cup, i set the jobs page as my home page, waiting for liverpool to become available. grant at chelsea was also released, the chelsea job was available, but when i checked liverpool, stoichkov was appointed without any announcement.

in my fourth season, i think i am the only manager not be have changed jobs/been sacked, blackburn have had 2, newcastle and west ham the same, fergie retired early, so there are probably more than enough sackings in my game.
