As the title suggests. I send a scout to look at a player and a few months later the report has vanished.

Any ideas why????

Scout reports don't last forever. I think it's a year before they are invalid.

It's think it's always been that way.
Makes sense really.
If a players is good today, it doesn't mean he'll still be good enough in a year, yet you would have a scout report telling you he is good.

Pretty sure this is false info.
What I've found is that if you assign a scout to a region the reports will disappear when you he begins his next assignment. If you assign him to a specific country the reports remain viewable indefinitely.

Reported this as a bug but typically no response from SI.
