Does anybody seem to have problems with player awareness?

I seem to find my players at corners, if the ball is cleared, i might have a player at the edge of my box who is probably closest to the bsll on the pitch, but they will wait for opposition to get the ball and not bother going to get it.

I was also cost a goal in my game against Watfor when my left back, who could have easily got the ball let the opposition pick it up and ended up scoring a goal.

Anyone know a way of stopping this?
