Sorry if this is well know, but I think I have found the oldest player in FM. Alan Gracey is player/assistant manager at Hanover at the ripe old age of 52.... He's not bad either!
Not very interesting really but I had a chuckle!

I think Hanover are an obscure English team? His pace is actually 10, which I can't believe, he's actually faster than chris morgan!
