I have decided to write a new version of the ingame commentary you see at the bottom of your screen when you are playing FM...

I got bored with the plain and simple comms and decided to put in some more realistic ones and some funnier ones from the last season.

Here is a few..

A magnificent goal by <p1> bada bada bada biiiiiiing!!
<t> are making changes.. the manager is sitting there eating jaffa cakes as well!!
<p1> strikes the freekick...and the crowd shout "Lovejoy"
There's people on the pitch...They think its all over.... It is now

I think over the past month I've added about 150 different lines.... and its updated WEEKLY!!!

Instructions
SAVE your current game FIRST!!!
Unzip the file to your desktop..
Then locate where the current events.cfg file is
C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2006/Data/Match Events
RENAME your existing events.cfg file to eventsOLD.cfg
Drop the new events.cfg file into that directory...
Close window..
start up FM and load your old game..

NOTE: Its ONLY in ENGLISH so if you are using other languages do NOT use this new file as I have DELETED all other languages!!!


If you ahve any CLEAN additions you'd like to see in the next update just leave them here and I shall add them

Version 9 is out on thursday from the same link as the first post...

<p1> has strayed off his line and needs his satnav to get back

Has to be the pick of the lines in this version lol..

lol, can't wait for v9 on Thursday.

I have a couple of suggestions:
(player gets injured) <p1>'s going home in an ambulance
(player has good match) <p1> on fire...someone put him out

I'll try to think of some more

Just downloaded and unzipped new file.

Just been playing and here are a few of my favourites:

"Goal!! <p1> runs over to the corner flag and dances like Crouch's robot."

"Referee is like a toaster...every tackle and a card pops out"

"<p1> tumbles away into his trademark celebration"
