FMDU Mega Update

Welcome everyone to the FMDU Mega Summer Update. This is our first update since the popular Winter Transfer Window update and we're now back with all the summer moves to bring your FM06 game up to speed with events in the footballing world.

If your looking for an update which does not just focus on the top leagues but also updates the lesser known leagues as well then this is the update for you !.

We have been working on this update for months now scouring the internet, papers and what ever else we could get our hands on to bring you as many updates as humanly possible and as a result of this hard work we believe it to be our most complete update...to date.

Enough of me going on let me tell you what you will find in this update:

- All the top Summer moves from England, Italy, Spain, Holland, Germany, France, Scotland, Portugese Leagues

- Major transfer work on leagues including Belgium, Romania, Denmark, Greece, Turkey, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Norway

- Transfers also added from Sweden, Slovakia, Hungary, Russia, Brazil and more

- Complete update of the Australian A-League all clubs and squads up to date as of start of the 06/07 season (including created players added to clubs)

- Premiership squad numbers updated

- Players injuries entered

- Player retirements with many retiring to coaches including Dennis Bergkamp, Nigel Martyn, Muzzy Izzett, Steve McManaman and a host of others

- International Caps edited for some players

- Changed nationalties for some players (e.g Pernia now Spanish 2nd nat Argentine, Marco Aurélio Turkish nat first name changed to Mehmet)

- Major work on the Coca Cola Championship, League One & League Two all transfers included from the Sky Sports website

- All the last minute transfer window moves (e.g Kuqi to Palace, Luyindula to Levante, Boka to Stuttgart, Inamoto to Galatasaray, Bernard to Newcastle)

- Up to date manager moves worldwide including national teams (e.g Arie Haan to Cameroon, Michal BÃ*lek to Sparta Prague)

- Added youngsters to the database including Fran Merida, Robbie Rogers, Juan Surriaco, Nazer Barazite, Sergio Arias, Ibrahim Toure and more

- Added Japanese players to the database including Seigo Narazaki, Tsuneyasu Miyamoto, Alex Santos, Mitsuo Ogasawara, Yoshi Kawaguchi and many more

- Edited some players pa and ca's to reflect real life (e.g Luka Modric, Peter Crouch, Francesco Tavano, Amauri, Klaas Jan Huntelaar)

- Players contracts updated/ Players released from contracts

- Took out all loans from previous season to replace with this seasons loans

- Promotions/Relegations from leagues for the 06/07 season including English Prem, Championship, League One, League Two, Dutch Eredivisie, French Ligue 1, Ligue 2 & National, Italian Serie A,B & C, Scottish Prem, Div 1, Div 2 & Div 3, Portugese Liga Bet&win, Belgian Jupiler League, German Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga & Regional Leagues, Spanish La Liga & Segunda, Turkish Prem, Ukraine Prem, Danish SAS Ligen, Swiss Premier Division, Austrian Bundesliga, Greek Alpha Ethniki, Romania Divizia A, Slovakian Prem, Swedish Allsvenskan, Norwegian Tippeligaen, Russian Premier Division

- Competition histories updated (e.g Chelsea vs Liverpool now in Community Shield, Barcelona vs Sevilla in Super Cup, etc.)

- Club finances updated through out leagues to be made more realistic

- Added more media such as Websites, Newspapers & Radio Stations

- Future stadium moves updated

- All this and more

where do i save this file once ive downloaded it

to install click on the db folder (in winrar) then go to Extract to > Crogram Files > Sports Interactive > FM06 > Data

You will be prompted to overwrite db click yes to all.

Also Make sure you backup your old db before installing this.

very good update, jsut one question why are tottenham in the uefa champions league ?

cheers. Tottenham are there because as u know at the start of last season England got 5 Champs League spots and we were not sure how to change it back to four in the db. So as a result when we put in the English European qualifiers Spurs get put in the CL starting at the first qualifying round with everyone else in the CL as they are in real life.

so bottom line really is we werent sure how to edit the European Champs League places for England and rather then mess with all the coefficients we left it as is.
