These used to be accepted ideas but some I'm not to sure about these days and was wondering if they are still viable:
1. Counter attacking works well by focussing the passing down the wings.
2. If you are playing away and counter attacking how do you reconcile these with the fact that away games are more narrow in width but you need higher width to best utilise wingers.
3. If you are getting plenty of shots on goal but no reward you should cut down on long shots tempo or both?
I'll think of some more later but advice on these welcome.

1. It still works well, but most important is quick tempo when u use counter.
2. why play narrow? Its only when u have tha ball it kicks in, I would still go wide away if I wanted.
3. Yes u can do that. But maybe your mentality isnt quite right, and this a way of telling you...?

4. If you are playing an offside trap should your centre backs be man marking or zonal? And why?
The offside trap was first utilized by teams playing with zonal marking. The players in these teams were accustomed to reacting to how their teammates behaved on the pitch. Opposite to solely concentrating on the opponent player to man-mark, as done in the early man-marking systems.
Therefore players used to playing in a zonal marking system should be more suited to play the offside trap.
