What is the bigget increase of any single stat that you have witnessed?
I haven't really payed attention to this so far, but as my training programs have lately had little or no results on some players, I'm beginning wonder how realistic my ideas of potential improvements really are.
For example, I have a player called Stuart Benjamin in Leeds. I'm not sure if he's a regen, but he's, I think, 17 in my third season. He's got a few huge stats, like decicions, flair, creativity and passing (all 18 or above) and in that sense the guy is an ideal future engine for my team, but his other stats rather suck.
He has spent first a year on my training schedule which has produced seemingly no results in his other stats. He is now playing playing on loan in feeder club I control and though getting 90 minutes in every game, I have seen no improvement so far.
He might just have poor potential or I have poor trainings schedules, I know. But how much should I realisticly expect him to improve in lets say two years time?
with very focused training on his weakness I managed to get sindre loe bing from passing 5 to 15, even so I could never hold that stat, once I put him into a "normal" training routine. It usually dropped by 2 points, but then stayed there.
I forgot... if you want to improve certain stats of a player I think you can only focus on one "area" of training (e.g. attacking, ball control ...). Pick the one that is most important for you to improve the player at and stick to that, if you try to improve too many weak points it will not really improve him that much.
