hey guys, I'll start by saying i'm currently managing aston villa..its my first season with them and only my second season in FM07 ( i just upgraded from 06). Anyway, I've forked out money to secure various high - profile coaches for my team as mine were substanddard to say the least..Here's my problem..No matter what training regieme i seem to impliment (I've tried a few off here) my team suffers alot of red arrows and only few green arrows..Now im not sure if this is becasue its early on in the season or just pure bad luck..

so to my question's :

1: is it just because im early into my season? i cant really afford my new signings to loose stats a matter of days after signing them.

2: Has anyone found a nice steady training setup ? if so would they mind sharing with me?..doesnt have to set the world alight just something steady

3: can anyone reccomend any more good coaches, not neciserally high profile..( i know this isnt the right forum for this part of my thread but cant hurt to ask

Personally I have not found a training schedule, that gets green arrows all year through. Just does not work, guess it would also be slightly unrealistic, because then players would just be world class after a few seasons, no matter what.

There are Matt's training schedules for download, I kinda liked them, with a few minor tweaks here and there, they did get me the best results. Check it out.

regarding coaches... do a forum search for the definite 5 star training, it will tell you what stats to look for in coaches, to get the most out of it.
