I decided to build up a tactic and training regime which will give me nice football to watch during the games
Systems like 4-1-4-1 and wide 4-4-2s are working well in FM 2007 but I couldn't find a tactic that would give nice football as well as results
1-0, 2-0 wins are fine but I don't enjoy FM with them
I would like to see my team fight in every area of the field
In order to do that, I decided to take Ajax system of football as basis
During 90s, Ajax 4-3-3/3-4-3 [definitely not Total Football] was the way that everyone enjoyed watching
As a young kid, I was supporting Ajax in European matches, too
As well as to that, youth academy of Ajax and their training systems are definitely one of the best football systems to bring up players in the world
I decided to create a training in Ajax' Way, too
With these training and tactic; I offer you a very nice football, players fighting all around the pitch and having opportunity to show their talents
Tactic
4-3-3/3-4-3 System
We have a way that will make the AI confused. Team is in the 4-3-3/4-5-1 system while defending and when we get the ball players change to a 3-4-3
Key is the middle axis where GK-DC-DMC-MC-FC plays
We play a short passing quick game where we pass the midfield as fast and controlled as we can
GK- Normal goalkeeper. Good handling, concentration,... you know what a GK is like.
DC(center)- Last man in the defence. Needs very good tackling, heading and marking stats.
DCs- They will defend the wing and try no to get oppositon behind them. Need faster players with high tackling stast for these postions
DC/DMC- Key man. You need a Rijkaard-like player who has an excellent defansive and passing ability
MC(center)- Number 10. Litmanen-like Amc who has a free role. Key man in the offence.
MCs- Tacklers of the field. Davids-Seedorf like players who always close down and tackle to get the ball. Needs high tackling.
Wingers- Fast players who can serve the center man as good as they can.
FC- Finisher. Kluivert like player who is well in air and a good finisher.
Here are the tests I ran with Ajax
Squad
Training
Training is mostly based of mental progress and ball control
Based on positions but "Ball Control" and "Tactics" are always in the main place
