I'd really like to see this implemented in FM08 (or Worldwide Soccer Manager 2008, in my case):
Let's say I want to move a player around in the Tactics view. When I click on them to move them, I can place them wherever. How cool would it be for the positions to be shaded with the level of expertise of that player in that position (versus just the dark green coloring now)? So, if a player is a Natural Striker, that would be shaded the same color as when you view the player's Profile for Positions (Bright green, I believe), whereas Sweeper might show either nothing (if no familiarity) or Ineffectual color (dark orange, I think).
I find it really annoying to have to click through each player, go to Positions, and then go back to the Tactics screen and move them to their Natural position, as this is where they would probably perform best.
