I would like to ask you how important you see coaches in the game. I'm playing as Everton so my current staff is not too bad but not world class, mostly national reputation. I'm just going into season 2 so have some money (2.9m) for transfers and some flexibility in the wage budget but I have a dilema.
Do I spend my money on better coaches or keep with my current staff and spend it on players? Squad is reasonably good and after a good run at th end of last season finished 4th, all the main players are still there.
Same question about ass manager, does it really make a huge difference?
reputation for coaches is not really important. so you can mostly ignore that.
but of course they are very important for training, because you want to get the most out of your players. It should not cost you much to get the coaches necessary to get all 5*, just get the ones who have short contracts, becaues they will cost you much less.
for the AM... it depends on how much you let him do, but it is not that resource draining to have a good AM really. Especially because once you get your good staff members they will in most cases stay with you, so it is a long term investment.
Getting good staff members is usually one of my top priorities. with 2.9m you should not have a problem really, in a worst case scenario you need maybe 300k for coaches, and that only if you substitute most of them.
