Hello,
I was just wondering the other day, is it possible to have a successful tactic without strikers.
The tactic will hopefully line up like this.
----------------
----------------
^ ^ ^
! ! !
AML---AMC----AMR
----------------
---MC--MC--MC---
----------------
DL--DC----DC--DR
----------------
------GK--------
I will put the team mentality at 20. DL Mentality - 15 DR Mentality - 15 DC Mentality - 13 DC Mentality - 13 MC (Middle) Mentality - 16 MC (Left) Mentality - 18 MC (Right) Mentality - 18 AMC Mentality - 20 AML Mentality - 20 AMR Mentality - 20
I will also play long & quick.
I will play with high creative freedom for the -
AML, AMC & AMR so they have the freedom to roam.
I will also use the AMC as a playmaker.
The AML, AMC & AMR all must have high creativity, pace & finishing. Otherwise this will not work.
Every player in the squad must player with tight zonal marking other than one of the CB & The middle MC.
Every player should also have direct passing.
It would be a lot more interesting if you had actually tried this out and showed the results, rather than another "here's a crazy idea I had" thread.
It probably could work, and might cause the AI problems with marking. Might be a fun experiment 'just to see if it works', but I can't see any real value in playing without strikers.
