Tactics & Training Tips

It's no use having a squad full of star players without a decent way for them to play their football.

Default Scouting opposing team when playing as international manager

I`ve just read through Kristianhnohrs thread (Unbeaten combination of Cleon&wwfan) and Ashyrs (Whats working for me...) both exellent and I`m currently having great success with my Cambridge side winning promotion to EPL.

I´m also managing Sweden but I find it a lot harder to practise a similar strategy for Sweden because I can`t hire a scout to find out how the opp. is going to play, I dont get pre-match odds either so it`s difficult to know if I should go defending or attacking.

What can I do to find out how to play?

Best regards/ psandstr

I used this set of tactics for Czech rep when I was managing them. You're gonna have to do your own judgement calls on that one. If I was playing albania I'd obviously feel I need to attack, if I was playing brazil then the opposite.

Not sure if I totally agree with your statement on pre-match odds for international games. They should appear in your fixture program.
