Someone please help. I have been playing this game for as long as I can remember and I have never struggled so much. In previous games with time it always came, but I am awful at 07.

I mainly want to do well as leeds and I am pretty sure they are garbage but with Lewis, thompson, derry, healy, blake and a couple of others they can't be that bad...can they?

I don't want to cheat with tatics from someone else, I would like to know what i'm doing wrong. Because as a genuine manager enthusiast I don't understand what i'm doing wrong. I can't score, can't defend and basically can't win and I really am losing heart with this game. Any help would be much appreciated

Keep changing tactics and put your best team out.That should help you and sign some players on loan if you can.Keep at it and you will get better.

I feel like changing tatics makes thigns worse though. I mean in real life teams play 442 generally and thats all I want to do!

Simple stuff a couple of wingers, a holding midfielder and an attacking one but i never works.

have you read cleon's and wwfans threads ? how bout the "What works for me" and "unbeaten combo of cleon and wwfan" threads.. read those.


I was at first also shocked at the difficulty of this version but now everything is a breeze again and the tweaking is minor after you've figured it out.

If you're in Toronto will you be going to watch the new MLS team play? i'm hoping to get to a game when i'm over on holiday

4-4-2 is a formation. Not a tactic.

When people say change tactic, they mean have a few contingency plans. Like a more defensive 4-4-2 for away games, a more attacking one for home games. And be prepared to make it play narrower, wider, deeper, faster etc. for different circumstances.

Changing your instructions i.e. your tactic should be something you do pretty regularly, but changing your formation can be often counter-productive.

I think a massive part of the problem is i can't get two strikers to score goals. A lot of the time I can't even get one of them to score enough. How do you get two 20 goal strikers? On paper Healy and Blake should be good enough.
