Barcelona can't use that tactic because they don't have convincing DMCs. Iniesta, Deco, Xavi all work better at MC or AMC position.

Try crazy gra's 4-2-2-2 tactic, won me the EPL with Man City in the first season. A great achievement, considering Man City's squad is not that great.

i disagree...you could convert one into a deep lying playmaker and then sell the unneeded ones for a huge profit and get the best DM's in the game (Gago/pirlo/gattuso/you know the deal...)

It depends on what style you want your team to play. Then sign the players suited for it.

But i agree with Crazy's formation if you dont wanna sign on new boys. Crazy...really.

Heh Barca don't have a decent transfer budget (only 3 or 4 mill iirc) so it would be hard to buy any good DMs. Even trying to sell any the players would be hard since you always don't get good fees from transfer listed players So might be tough to get decent money from transfer listed players to buy good DMs. Though arguably, Iniesta and Xavi could be retrained and converted to DMs of course
