Thoughts on relative impact from different positions...
... by which I mean, in short, how should you maximise you're spending to improve a team.
I think you'd have to approach this with a standard 4-4-2 in mind. Now, you could provide indicators of quality in each position - I'm sure most people do this - to work out who you want to buy. E.g.
10 10
7 8 8 9
8 6 8 8

...suggesting that a left winger and a centre back are the places to improve. But are there better proxies? How accurate are the "stars" that the coaches give you for ability.
Or - what are your feelings on the relative merits of each position? I know it rests on the quality of the other players - but if you could purchase a full-back who contribes 5 assists a season, that could be a much better purchase than a new striker with a goal scoring record - as they'd create better chances for your existing forwards.
