your all forgetting chiellini he is the best dl in the game.out of bale and baines i would recommend baines,he is always class for me.

I have both on my Spurs game, and they're both good. You won't go far wrong with either.
Have a look at Pocognoli (BEL), he's probably just as good and likely to cost a good deal less if cash is an issue.

| I agree with this, Pocognoli is a superb player and can be bought for about £700k in first season but his value shouldn't raise alot, depends where he is playing at but he isn't a well known player outside Belgium :thup:

Bale has never been great for me. In 10-11 I honestly say check out Armand Traoré. Love him.

Bale is a champ, doesnt set u back as much and has oodles of Potential as well as a great FK, Honestly will hit the back of the net for you 8 times or more from free kicks,
