yeah but when you're in a position to spend 50 or so million on a player why on earth would you be spending that kind of money on a 28-31 year old? if you've been in the game for three or four seasons surely there are some amazing regens going round that you can get for 1/20th of the price.

also, Zapater and Alonso are completely different types of player, i know they're both DM's but Alonso is a Pirlo type creative mid while Zapater is more of a defensive player who's not going to provide you with the passing and creativity you'll get from Alonso.

Simply put, no.

Check out some of the other alternatives named though, some, like Lucas, are very good from experience, but also look for regens. I picked up two wonderkids Finnish MCs on the cheap in 2010/2011
