I have won the league three times in a row, won the champions league in 08/09 and lost in the final 09/10. was given 49 Mil to spend...... but then.... Barca came to town.
First they bid 24 mil for Cesc I reject, they come back with 40 mil plus 50% sell on clause and my board accept. (to be honest he doesnt perform in my system to well so i am happy with the cash.
Next they bid 12 mil for Vela and i reject again, they again come back with 20 mil plus 50% sell on clause and my board accept. (he wasn't gettin a game so i cant complain but he was one for the future)
Then they bid for my best performing defender, the Wonderkid Breno. they offer a derisory 8 mil, I reject and they once again come back with a 20 mil plus 50% sell on clause which my board once again accepts.
They spent 80 MILLION Pounds at one club.
plus the fact that bendtner went to liverpool for 6 million, I know have 133 Million to spend.
So my first 11 at the moment is:

I think a left back, centre back, central midfielder and striker are needed, my options so far are:
left back:

Kaka (how does he perform at MC)

Ibrahimovic
Bojan
Everytime i go for any of these the teams they are with are asking for ridiculous amounts of money i.e Barzagli they want 79 mil, Kaka they want 80 mil ibrahim. they want 75 mil even bale who is at newcastle they want 46 mil!!!! Do they know my budget, is the game that good that the opposing team asks for more cause they know you can afford it like teams do in real life to chelsea or real madrid?
Why would you want to spend on Barzagli in 2010?? He would be what, 29 going on 30 by then? Thats a maximum of 2 years at his best. Not a good investment imo. Go for Zapata as he develops eerily similar stats to Barzagli anyway. And he's excellent too. Thats you best option.
Same goes for Ibrahimovic. I'd get Bojan in 2010. He should be the best in the game by now.
Kaka would be 28, but he's a good buy at any age tbh. I'd still invest in him as he'll give you 4 years atleast at the top. Not to mention, you central midfield is really weak in terms of attack. Denilson & Veloso, although good in attack, will not bring you as much as Kaka or Fabregas would.
And for LB, where are Traore & Clichy?? Get them back instead of spending on Bale, Insua or Emmanuelson. Both of them are much better and will probably be willing to come back if they've been gone more than a year. Else, look for Chiellini. Or just get Criscito who can fill in at CB too.
TBH, I'd buy Kaka and play him as AMC instead of Messi. Messi could move to RM where Maxi Rod is not the best around (although good). I'd look to get Banega for CM. He should be in full flow by now. Denilson & Veloso can rotate I suppose. If you have lots of money left over, then I'd consider getting Iniesta for CM.
And lastly, you let Bendtner leave for a measely 6M???? That too to Liverpool?? :eek:

agree. bought zapatar. now he's has max stats for heading, tackling and marking. just like barzagli...
